PUBLIC NOTICE

To improve
the quality of processing in the State of Maharashtra and to reduce the
level of contamination, the Federation was considering incentive to be
given to various Ginning & Pressing factories if they carry out modernization
as per the plan of the Federation. To motivate Ginning & Pressing factories
the Federation has decided to give an additional incentive, over and above
the normal rates to ginning & pressing factories, which carry out modernization.
In addition to extra incentive ginning & pressing factories will also
be entitled to receive higher quantities of cotton if they modernize vis-a-vis
other ginning and pressing factories. The rates of incentive for modernization
ginning and pressing can be obtained from any of the zone office, H.O.
Nagpur or from Joint Managing Director of the Federation.
If ginning and pressing factory intends to modernize, they can make an
application to Joint Managing Director (Fax No.022-2875232)
and then they will be issued a letter of intent indicating that, in case
they modernize to our satisfaction then they will be given cotton on priority.
This is as per the Circular No.HO/PP/Gin & Press Modernization/2000-01/322/1676
dt 21-07-2000 of the Federation.
