VARIOUS MEASURE TAKEN & PLANNING TO IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF THE COTTON REDUCING THE CONTAMINATION AND VARIOUS FACILITIES MADE AVAILABLE
  1. Restoration grading system. Since season 1999-2000 purchase of cotton in five grades i.e. Super, FAQ, Fair, X and Kawadi to improve the quality of the cotton.
  2. Incentives for the modernization of Ginning Factories as per norms fixed. Preference for maximum utilization modernized ginning.
  3. Sale of Full Pressed Cotton bales on heap selection basis and it's processing under buyer's supervision.
  4. Availability of indicative Lab test reports on the basis of 2% sampling saleable lots of Nagpur, Akola, Amravati and Yeotmal zone for the convenience of buyer in cotton selection process.
  5. For speedy dispute settlement procedure should have been adopted, formation of grievances cell and opening of chat module and guest book for speedy disposal of dispute.
  6. Use cotton cloth for full pressed cotton bales packing.
  7. Control over mixing of different span length cotton with use of LVI on centers at the time of procurement of kapas.
  8. Creation of web site www.mahacot.com for overall information of the Federation.
  9. Liberalized view of allowing CWS, SWC storage facility of cotton bales
