SUB.:-
Packing of FP Cotton Bales in Cotton cloth for the season 2000-2001.
In
order to avoid the contamination problem of hessian strings in the
cotton, which is an evil to the entire textile processing.
Many mills, specially from Export Oriented Units are constantly
asking for supply FP Cotton bales packed in cotton cloth instead

cloth. This affecting the buying from quality conscious mills,
therefore, taking into consideration the growing demand from the
mills Federation has decided to make use of cotton cloth instead
of hessain cloth for packing FP Cotton bales from season 2000-2001.
This will not have any additional financial burden on the ginning
and pressing factories, on the contrary it will prove beneficial
to them. All ginning and pressing factories are requested
to make use of cotton cloth for packing the bales as per cloth specification
give below.

of the slots (galas) of press should be reduced to the size of
iron hoops.
- In
order to fix side cloth (mondha) firmly, additional double stitches
should be given while stitching and trolley should be used for
trasnportation of bales from ne place to another in the factory
premises.
- The
ink get spread and penetrates to the cotton if direct marking
is being done. Therefore, you are instructed to write details
of press marking on 8.5x11.5 inches and paste this cloth piece
