In Maharashtra 793 G&P factories are engages for the ginning and pressing of Cotton. Federation is trying to motivate ginners for modernization of the ginning and presing factories by giving incentives.

But since the existing incentives were not that lucrative, Federation has now revised incentive rates and now will pay Rs.44 per quintal of lint as a special incentive for the following work:-

Carrying of raw cotton by pneumatic suction pipe from raw cotton heap to gin house, precleaning of raw cotton, construction of pala house and carrying of lint by pneumatic suction pipe or conveyor from gin house to press house and precleaning of lint before pressing.
