Sub : Purchase of F.P.cotton bales from raw cotton Heap Selection (H.S.) and ptocessing under Supervision of Mill.

State Coop. Cotton Growers Marketing Federation Ltd, Mumbai please to
aonounce the sale of F.P. cotton bales from the selected heap and fiuther
processing of cleaning, ginning & pressing in the supervision of the
Mill Buyers on the following conditions.
1) TENDER OFFER : Party have to give sealed tender in the sales
office at Khetan Bhavan Mumbai for purchase of bales mentioning the name
of Zone, centre, variety, grade, and ginning end pressing factory. ( Format
of the Tender enclosed) Tenders of only closed heaps shall be accepted.
Buyer shall have to enclose Rs. 50 per bale deposit by way of D.D. along
with the tender. If no sale is concluded under such tender, D:D. will
be returned by the Federation immediately sfter result i.e. on third day.
2) SALE of F.P. BALES ON HEAP SELECTION BASIS: Seated tendera will
be received up to 3.00 p.m. on every Monday ( if holiday falls on Monday
then on next consecutive working day), &om the date to be notified
in each season by Federation. These tenders will be opened befote SPC
on the same day at 4.00 p.m. At the time of opening tenderers will be
&ee to present.
3) Heap selection will be permitted only on the center where single variety
is procured or in case of more than one variety buyer shall have to enter
in to the contract of the variety wbich is of highest procurement price
on that centre as well as in super grade only no FAQ grade will be entertained
for the heap selection. If FAQ grade heap is there and buyers select that
heap then the heap will be treated as Sup grade only and rates applicable
for sale will be of super grade only.
4) CONFIRMATION : SPC on the date of receipt of tender will coasider
the tender and the decision to the buyer will be comrounicated on third
working day.In case of any couuter offer buyer shall have to send his
confirmation up to 4.30 p.m. on the day of communication.
5) EARNEST MONEY DEPOSTT.
EMD applicable for the sale on the basis of heap selection will be same
as in Price Liat prevailing on the date of sale. Buyer shall bave to pay
bahmce EMD deposit within 5 days after adjusting above Rs.501- bale paid
at the time of offer submission.
6) ALLOTMENT LETTER.
On the rsceipt of EMD allotment letter will be given within 24 hours and
will be communicated to Centre Incharge/Sub Zonal Manager/Zonal Maoager
& Party.
7) PROCEDURE OF THE PROCESSING : The selected heap will be weighed
in presence of Mills and federation representative and after weighment.
Ginning & pressing process will be started. Weighment slip as per
prescribed format would be signed by both party's as well as Centre lncharge
of Federation. 1n the event of fire damage or any unforeseen incident
heap is damaged then no replacement will be given and the deal will be
treated as cancelled at par. Any cost incurred in processing will not
be reimbursed.
Wt.of heap and process of heap should start within 3 days ~om date of
con8rmation, failing which contract will be temunated and this cotton
will be given to another buyer.
8) ENGAGEMENT OF THE LABOUR FOR CLEANING : The buyer will be allowed
to engage as many labourers/supervisors as required for the cleaning of
the cotton/lint.
9) WEIGHT OF LINT : Ginning Lint will weighed in presence of Party's and
Federation's representative. Weighment slip should be signed by both the
partyrs and Federation's representafrve.
