No.CTN/SS/Offer/2000-2001/5256
Dated 14-9-2000
SUB.:-Clubbing
of different group of mills/ mills and muccadam in one deal
It
is noted that different legal entities though falling under one
group of companies makes combined offer to the Federation for purchase
of F.P. cotton bales. This is to clarify that each offer should
give from a separate legal entity. Combined offer received from
different legal entities eventhough they are falling under one group
of companies will not be accepted by the Federation. For example
- if there three companies like a) ABC Textiles Mills, b) ABC Textiles
Pvt. Ltd., c) ABC & Co. All these three companies are part of
a group of ABC Group of Companies as these three companies are separate
distinct legal entity they can not combine their offer under the
banner of ABC Group of Companies. Separate offer has to give from
each company.
If
there is one company which owns more than one mill - for example
ABC Textiles Ltd., having its mills at Patna, Mumbai and Gandhinagar
will be treated as one entity as it is one distinct legal entity
having its various mills / units but forming part of the same company.
This
will come into force w.e.f. 14-9-2000.
