CIRCULAR
The Maharashtra State Coop.Cotton Growers Mktg.Fed.Ltd., has made bid to improve the quality of cotton by reducing contamination and providing facility in the process of cotton purchasing as detailed below:-
1)
To procure and sale of cotton gradewise is recogniszed special feature
of Maharashtra cotton, this is restored since season 99-2000. Now cotton
is being purchased, processed pressed and sold in 5 grades i.e. Super,
FAQ, FAIR and Kawadi. This will help our customers in getting unadulterated
cotton lint.
2) Quality of cotton is directly related to quality of the ginning and
quality of infrastructure in the ginning and pressing factory and level
of technology of the machins. Inorder to uplift this area, Federation
have come up with incentive scheme for modernization of Ginning and pressing
factories as a whole including Ginning/Pressing infrastructure & Technological
upgradation.
3) Modern G&P Factories with improved infrastructure will be given
priority for processing maximum quantity of cotton, which will be a support
for modernization.
4) Indicative Lab test reports on the basis of 2% sampling of saleable
lots of Nagpur, Akola, Amaravati and Yeaotmal zone will be made available
on net for the convenience of buyer in cotton selection process.
5) Federation has kept open option of selecting of raw cotton heap which
buyer will process under his supervision and allowing the processing method
ofhis choice, which will help them to get quality cotton as per his choice.
6) In order to expedite the settlement of dispute Federation has started
a grievance cell, headed by Dy.General Manager (Exp./ Sale). In addition,
to this Federation has provided a facility of online chat and guest book
to the customers.
