The Maharashtra Stat Co-operative Cotton Growers Marketing Federation Limited was set up in 1984 with major equity holding from the Government of Maharashtra to implement the Cotton Monopoly Scheme. MSCCGMF Ltd has been appointed as the chief agent to implement the scheme. As chief agent the federation is involved in procurement, processing, storage & sale of cotton under the scheme & is guided by the policies of the government in this respect.
