Cottonseed is sold by zone office in weekly open auctions and delivery is effected from the centre cotton seed is also purchased by state seed corporation which is reserved fro sowing seed under the seed programme.

SALE OF COTTON SEED BY AUCTION

The M.S.C.C.G.M.F. Ltd, intend to sale cottonseed obtained in the current season 1999-2000 after processing of Raw cotton purchased under the cotton monopoly scheme in 11 different zones in maharashtra. About 75000 to 100000 quintals cotton seed is kept in every auction in each zone. Federation sale cottonseed by auction on the days mentioned against the zones as under to their registered buyers. Registration procedure can be completed at zone office by paying Rs 1500/- and furnishing information as Sales Tax declaration etc.
